WIP Sewing space

Ik vertelde al eerder heel kort over mijn plannen om een eigen naairuimte in te richten. Na lang speuren op Pinterest voor ideeën en de IKEA website werd het tijd voor een bezoekje. Op een zaterdag ging ik er met Vriend heen. Het boodschappenlijstje stond in de handige winkel-app dus we waren gelukkig zo klaar. Naturlijk wel met een paar dingen die nog niet op het lijstje stonden, zo gaat dat bij IKEA ;)

I told you before about my plans for my own sewing space . After some time on the IKEA website I needed to finally visit the store. On a Saturday the Boyfriend and I went on the trip. I prepared the shoplist in the app so it was a short visit. Off course we never leave IKEA with some stuff we didn't even know we needed ;)

Mijn naairuimte komt op zolder in een hoekje. Daar staat nu nog de sportkleding van Vriend en een kast die langzaam-aan steeds voller wordt met naai- en haakspulletjes.

My sewing space will be in the corner of the attic. On that spot we keep the sports clothes of Boyfriend and a closet that slowly starts to fill up with sewing notions and crochet related stuff.

Dus de spullen zijn binnen. Nu alleen nog de dingen in elkaar zetten en ordenen. Er komt een bureau op wielen zodat hij makkelijk uit het hoekje te halen is. Daarboven komt een plank voor boeken/tijdschriften en losse (nog te organiseren) fournituren. Onder de plank komt een stang (de Bygel) met een aantal bakjes voor scharen en losse spullen. Hebben jullie nog tips voor het handig opbergen van alle fournituren?

So we collected the materials, now I only need to assemble and organize the materials. There will be a desk on wheels so it can be retrieved from the corner easily. On the wall will be a shelf for books/magazines and (yet to be organised) notions. Under the shelf we will place a bar (Bygel) to hang scissors and small stuff. Do you have any recommendations for organizing notions?
